Recently we finished studying the play A Streetcar Named Desire by Tennessee Williams in class. this play was very interesting and before studying i read the play before for preparing myself and to get to know what the play is all about. this play shows the contra between to characters Stella and Blanche, the two siblings comes from the same background but they become a different person in this play. Stella got married to Stanley Kowalski and Blanche keep on living in her past memory.in this play Stanley felt threaten by having Blanche staying in his house as Stella got Blanche to talk to other than relying on Stanley alone. Moreover Stella keep on defending Blanche whenever Stanley tries to push Blanche down.towards the end of this play Stella betray Blanche by sending her to a mental asylum but Stella does not realise that she the only person that Blanche could ask to help her.

Hi! I do agree with you that "A Streetcar Named Desire" is an interesting play. I like the relationship between Blanche and Stella as they were very close. They are also concern each other. However, i'm really not satisfied with Stella who betrayed her own very sister at the end of the story. She's actually should take care of Blache herself. Besides, another interesting part of this play is Stanley's character. He's so charming and he looks really cute when he realized his mistakes on Stella. When he call Stella "bavby", he looks so childish and this helps him looks more charming and cute.
